Having heard about a programme on BBC TV entitled Death of Respect, I thought I'd stop by and add my thoughts to the BigPinkHeart campaign. I found out about BigPinkHeart while twittering on Twitter! Why should it be so difficult to reclaim Respect? Surely this is a matter of everyone making an 'effort'; something which I think we are all guilty of not doing! I agree that if we all concentrated on a day given to Respect, about which BigPinkHeart is campaigning, we will make a difference. This shouldn't be about being considerate and respectful to those nearest and dearest to us, that tends to come very naturally! What isn't as natural to us is respecting other people and their differing opinions. I for one will definitely be supporting the BigPinkHeart campaign and I hope many more people will join them.
